1. DEFINITIONS, INTERPRETATION AND SCOPE

1.1. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the ASTO INDIA website, digital products, astrology-related reports, associated customer-support facilities and any consultation services made available through the platform.

1.2. “ASTO INDIA”, “Platform”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to the business operating the website astoindia.in. “Customer”, “you” or “your” refers to any individual accessing the Platform, submitting personal or birth-related information, purchasing a product or using any service offered through the Platform.

1.3. “Report” means any digital astrology-related report made available by ASTO INDIA, including, where offered, Career Reports, Relationship Reports, Matchmaking Reports and Personalized Kundli Reports.

1.4. “Pandit” means an individual onboarded or engaged by ASTO INDIA to provide astrology-related explanations, discussions or consultations through the communication channels made available by the Platform.

1.5. By accessing the Platform, placing an order, submitting information or using any service, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review these Terms. Where applicable, your purchase or use of a service shall also be subject to the relevant product description, checkout disclosures, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

2. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES

2.1. ASTO INDIA provides technology-assisted astrology-related digital reports and, where expressly included in the applicable offer, access to consultations or discussions with onboarded Pandits.

2.2. The services may include automated or software-assisted report generation, the processing of customer-submitted information, digital report delivery and communication with an onboarded Pandit in accordance with the terms of the specific product purchased.

2.3. The exact scope, format, price, estimated delivery period, consultation duration, communication channel and other applicable features shall be determined by the relevant product description or offer displayed at the time of purchase.

2.4. No feature, consultation, communication facility or additional service shall be deemed included in a purchase unless it is expressly described as included in the relevant offer or otherwise confirmed by ASTO INDIA.

3. SOFTWARE-ASSISTED REPORT GENERATION AND PERSONALIZATION

3.1. The Customer acknowledges that ASTO INDIA may use specialized astrology software, computational systems, automated processing tools, digital calculation methods and associated technologies to generate, structure or personalize its Reports.

3.2. Reports may be generated by processing information supplied by the Customer, including, where applicable, the Customer’s name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, relationship-related information, career-related information and other details specifically requested for the relevant service.

3.3. The resulting Report may contain astrology-based calculations, interpretations, summaries, predictions, observations or recommendations derived from the applicable software, calculation methods and information submitted by the Customer.

3.4. The Customer acknowledges that the quality, relevance and personalization of a Report may depend upon the accuracy, completeness and consistency of the information submitted. ASTO INDIA shall not be responsible for discrepancies attributable to inaccurate or incomplete Customer-provided information, except to the extent such responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

3.5. ASTO INDIA may update, modify, replace or improve its software, computational processes, report formats and associated technologies from time to time, provided that such changes do not unlawfully diminish any rights arising from an existing purchase.

3.6. Unless expressly stated otherwise in the relevant product description, a software-generated or software-assisted Report shall not be represented as having been individually written, manually calculated or independently verified in its entirety by a human practitioner.

4. CUSTOMER INFORMATION AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUBMITTED DETAILS

4.1. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all information supplied for the preparation of a Report is accurate to the best of the Customer’s knowledge.

4.2. Where birth date, birth time or place of birth is requested, the Customer should provide the most accurate information reasonably available. Inaccurate, estimated, incomplete or subsequently corrected details may affect the resulting calculations or interpretations.

4.3. The Customer should review the information entered before completing the purchase. If an error is identified after submission, the Customer should promptly contact ASTO INDIA through the available support channel.

4.4. ASTO INDIA may request clarification or additional information where reasonably necessary to process an order or provide the purchased service.

4.5. ASTO INDIA shall handle Customer information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law. The collection or use of personal information shall be limited to purposes supported by the applicable legal basis, service requirements and relevant disclosures.

5. NON-DISCRIMINATION AND EQUAL SERVICE TREATMENT

5.1. ASTO INDIA is committed to providing its services without unlawful or unfair discrimination on the basis of personal characteristics protected under applicable law.

5.2. Subject to applicable law, service availability, product eligibility, operational requirements and the specific scope of the purchased product, Customers shall be treated fairly and consistently in the processing of orders, generation and delivery of Reports, and provision of included support.

5.3. ASTO INDIA does not undertake to produce a predetermined interpretation, prediction or conclusion merely because a Customer requests or prefers a particular result. Interpretations generated by the applicable software or provided during a consultation may differ according to the information submitted and the nature of the service.

5.4. Nothing in this clause shall be construed as a guarantee that every Customer will receive identical interpretations, conclusions or recommendations, since personalized services may produce different outputs based on different inputs.

6. ONBOARDED PANDITS AND CONSULTATION FACILITIES

6.1. Where a product expressly includes consultation, discussion or communication with a Pandit, ASTO INDIA may facilitate access to an individual onboarded or engaged by the Platform for that purpose.

6.2. Such interaction may take place through WhatsApp, telephone calls or another communication channel expressly specified in the applicable offer. The duration, availability, number of interactions and applicable usage period shall be governed by the offer displayed at the time of purchase.

6.3. ASTO INDIA may onboard or engage individuals on the basis of its internal selection, onboarding or operational criteria. Unless expressly stated and verifiably supported, ASTO INDIA does not represent that every onboarded Pandit holds a particular academic degree, statutory licence, professional certification or other formal qualification.

6.4. The description “Pandit” identifies the capacity in which an individual provides the relevant astrology-related service through ASTO INDIA. It shall not, by itself, constitute a representation of any particular academic qualification, government recognition or professional accreditation.

6.5. Consultation availability may be subject to reasonable scheduling, working hours, response times, service capacity and technical availability. ASTO INDIA shall communicate material limitations or changes affecting an included consultation in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the relevant offer.

6.6. Any statement, interpretation or opinion communicated by a Pandit represents an astrology-related interpretation and is not a guarantee of any future event or outcome.

7. DISCLAIMER, NO WARRANTY, NO ASSURANCE AND CUSTOMER'S INDEPENDENT DECISION-MAKING

7.1. Nature and Purpose of Reports: All Reports, software-generated or software-assisted interpretations, astrological calculations, predictions, observations, recommendations and consultations provided by ASTO INDIA are intended solely for general informational purposes, personal reflection and astrology-based guidance. Such materials are not a representation of established fact, a promise of future performance or a guarantee of any particular outcome.

7.2. No Guarantee or Assurance of Results: ASTO INDIA expressly disclaims any guarantee, warranty, representation or assurance, whether express or implied, that any prediction, interpretation, recommendation or observation contained in a Report or communicated during a Pandit consultation will materialize, prove accurate in every respect or produce a particular result. No assurance is given regarding relationships, reconciliation, compatibility, marriage, career advancement, employment, business, financial circumstances, health, personal development or any future event.

7.3. No Guaranteed Action or Outcome: The delivery of a Report does not constitute a promise that any event will occur, any person will behave in a particular manner, any relationship will succeed, any employment or business opportunity will arise, or any desired objective will be achieved. ASTO INDIA provides the purchased informational service; it does not undertake to ensure, cause or secure a particular real-world outcome.

7.4. Customer's Independent Judgment and Responsibility: The Customer remains responsible for independently evaluating the contents of a Report, considering their own circumstances, exercising personal judgment and deciding whether or how to act upon any information received. Any action, omission, decision, commitment, transaction or course of conduct adopted by the Customer after reviewing a Report or participating in a consultation is undertaken on the Customer's own assessment and responsibility, subject to applicable law.

7.5. Independent Professional Consultation: Where the Customer intends to make a significant personal, relationship-related, educational, career-related, financial, medical, legal or other consequential decision, the Customer is advised to consider their individual circumstances and, where appropriate, seek independent advice from a suitably qualified and appropriately certified professional relevant to the decision concerned. Where the Customer specifically seeks further astrological assessment, the Customer may consult an independent astrologer of their own choice, including a suitably qualified or certified practitioner where such credentials are relevant and available.

7.6. No Substitution for Qualified Professional Advice: ASTO INDIA's Reports and Pandit consultations do not constitute, and must not be relied upon as a substitute for, professional medical diagnosis or treatment, mental-health care, legal advice, regulated financial advice or other services requiring specialized professional qualifications or authorization. The Customer should independently verify material information before taking consequential action.

7.7. No Exclusive Reliance: The Customer acknowledges that astrology-based interpretations are inherently uncertain and that different practitioners, methods, software systems or interpretations may produce differing conclusions. The Customer should not treat any Report as the sole, conclusive or determinative basis for a material decision.

7.8. Limitation of Responsibility Subject to Law: To the extent permitted by applicable law, ASTO INDIA shall not be responsible merely because a prediction, interpretation or recommendation does not materialize or because a Customer's independently chosen action does not produce the expected result. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, nor does it override any mandatory statutory or consumer-protection right.

7.9. Acknowledgment: By purchasing or using a Report, the Customer acknowledges the informational and interpretative nature of the service, the absence of any guaranteed future outcome, and the importance of exercising independent judgment before making consequential decisions.

8. PRICING, ORDER CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENT

8.1. The price payable for a product shall be the price displayed at checkout when the Customer places the order, subject to any clearly disclosed applicable taxes or charges.

8.2. Payments shall be made using the payment methods made available through the Platform or its authorized payment service providers.

8.3. An order may be processed after the relevant payment has been successfully verified. A payment authorization, pending transaction or bank debit without a corresponding order confirmation may require further verification.

8.4. In the event of a suspected duplicate payment, failed transaction, incorrect charge or payment-related discrepancy, the Customer should contact ASTO INDIA with the relevant order reference and transaction details. Customers should not share passwords, payment PINs or one-time authentication codes with ASTO INDIA.

8.5. ASTO INDIA may suspend processing of an order where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, payment irregularities, unauthorized transactions or other legitimate security concerns, subject to applicable law.

9. DIGITAL DELIVERY AND SERVICE PERFORMANCE

9.1. Reports are digital products and are not ordinarily dispatched as physical goods.

9.2. Delivery shall take place through the method specified in the relevant product description or order confirmation, which may include email, a digital download facility or another communicated electronic channel.

9.3. Any delivery period displayed on the Platform is an estimate or stated service commitment according to the applicable offer. The Customer should refer to the specific product description for the delivery period applicable to the order.

9.4. Customers are responsible for providing valid contact information and maintaining reasonable access to the email address, telephone number or other delivery channel supplied at checkout.

9.5. If a Report is not received within the stated delivery period, or a file is inaccessible or materially defective, the Customer should contact ASTO INDIA so that the issue can be investigated and an appropriate remedy determined in accordance with the applicable offer and law.

10. CANCELLATION, REFUNDS AND CUSTOMER REMEDIES

10.1. Cancellation and refund requests shall be handled in accordance with the separate Refund Policy displayed on the Platform, the terms disclosed at checkout and applicable consumer-protection law.

10.2. Because Reports may be personalized digital products and preparation may begin after an order is confirmed, the stage of processing may be relevant when assessing a cancellation or refund request.

10.3. No clause in these Terms shall be interpreted as automatically extinguishing a Customer’s statutory rights merely because a Report is digital, personalized or has entered production.

10.4. Duplicate payments, verified payment failures, non-delivery, materially defective deliverables and other legitimate complaints shall be reviewed on their merits in accordance with applicable law and the published Refund Policy.

10.5. Any applicable refund shall be processed through the relevant payment mechanism or another lawful method within the applicable processing period. Bank or payment-provider processing times may vary.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND PERMITTED USE

11.1. Subject to third-party rights, ASTO INDIA retains or lawfully uses the intellectual property rights subsisting in its website design, branding, original report formats, original content, software-related materials and other proprietary platform assets.

11.2. Upon purchase, the Customer receives the right to access and use the purchased Report for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to applicable law and the scope of the purchase.

11.3. Except where expressly authorized or permitted by law, Customers shall not reproduce, republish, resell, distribute, commercially exploit or represent ASTO INDIA’s proprietary materials as their own.

11.4. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of ASTO INDIA’s intellectual property to the Customer merely by reason of purchasing a Report.

12. ACCEPTABLE USE AND PLATFORM SECURITY

12.1. Customers shall not knowingly misuse the Platform, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, misrepresent their identity for fraudulent purposes or use the Platform in violation of applicable law.

12.2. ASTO INDIA may take reasonable and proportionate measures to protect the Platform, Customers, payment integrity and service operations in response to suspected misuse, subject to applicable law and any applicable notice or remedy requirements.

12.3. No provision in this clause authorizes arbitrary denial of service or the withholding of a remedy otherwise required by applicable law.

13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND TECHNICAL AVAILABILITY

13.1. The Platform may depend upon third-party providers for payment processing, communication, hosting, software infrastructure or electronic delivery.

13.2. Third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy practices. ASTO INDIA shall address matters within its reasonable control and shall remain responsible for obligations imposed upon it by applicable law.

13.3. ASTO INDIA may perform reasonable maintenance, updates or security measures. Where a material interruption affects a purchased service, ASTO INDIA shall take reasonable steps to address the issue and provide any remedy required under the applicable terms or law.

14. PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION

14.1. Customer information shall be collected, processed, stored, disclosed and retained in accordance with ASTO INDIA’s Privacy Policy and applicable law.

14.2. Birth details and other information submitted for personalized services shall not be treated as unrestricted public information merely because they have been provided through the Platform.

14.3. ASTO INDIA shall implement appropriate measures for handling Customer information and shall disclose such information only where supported by the applicable legal basis, service requirements, Customer authorization or other lawful grounds.

14.4. Customers should consult the Privacy Policy for further information about data handling, relevant service providers, retention practices, available rights and contact procedures.

15. AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS

15.1. ASTO INDIA may revise these Terms to reflect changes in its services, technology, operational requirements or applicable law.

15.2. Revised Terms shall be published on the Platform with an updated effective or revision date. Changes shall apply prospectively as permitted by law and shall not retrospectively remove rights already accrued to Customers.

15.3. Where legally required, material changes shall be communicated or accepted through an appropriate process.

16. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

16.1. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable consumer-protection legislation and other mandatory legal provisions.

16.2. Customers may raise service-related concerns through the contact channels published on the Platform. ASTO INDIA shall review and respond to complaints through an appropriate process.

16.3. Nothing in these Terms restricts a Customer from approaching a competent consumer commission, court, regulator or other authority where such recourse is available under applicable law.

16.4. Any jurisdictional provision shall operate only to the extent permitted by applicable law and shall not deprive a Customer of a mandatory statutory remedy.

17. SEVERABILITY AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT

17.1. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to operate to the extent legally permissible.

17.2. These Terms, together with the applicable product description, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the principal terms governing the relevant use or purchase, without overriding mandatory statutory rights or any additional terms expressly agreed between the parties.
